Two Men Arrested for Involvement in Prostitution Ring in Sapporo, Hokkaido Two men, who are executives of a used car sales company in Chuo Ward, Sapporo, have been arrested by the police for allegedly facilitating prostitution among their female employees through an internet dating site. The arrested individuals include the 50-year-old president of the used car sales company, Naotaka Tsuzaka, who resides in Kitajō, Chuo Ward, Sapporo, and a 45-year-old male employee from Asahikawa City. According to police investigations, Tsuzaka and his accomplice are suspected of recruiting a 19-year-old woman from Sapporo via an online dating site on August 5. They allegedly arranged for her to engage in prostitution with a 50-year-old man, leading to suspicions of violating anti-prostitution laws. Police reports indicate that Tsuzaka was operating the used car sales business with the actual intention of facilitating prostitution. They employed around ten women aged between 19 and 20 as employees, allegedly allowing them to engage in prostitution for fees ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 yen. Since the year before last, the prostitution activities have reportedly been ongoing, generating at least 15 million yen in revenue just this year alone. Both suspects have reportedly admitted to the charges during police questioning, and further investigations are underway to gather more details about their operations.
