Two Women Arrested for Violating Niigata's Entertainment Business Law On the 4th of this month, the Joetsu Police Station and the Police Headquarters' Lifestyle Security Division arrested two South Korean women on suspicion of violating the Entertainment Business Law in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture. The arrested individuals are a 48-year-old self-proclaimed operator of an "akatsuri" (scrubbing) establishment and a 43-year-old employee from the same establishment, both residing in Nakama-cho, 3-chome. According to the police, the suspects were operating the establishment "Akasuri Akashiya" in Nakama-cho, 3-chome, around late September. Despite being in a prohibited area for such business activities, they allegedly provided sexual services to male customers in private rooms at the establishment.
